This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette was refurbished and modified during prior ownership, with work including refinishing the exterior in black with white coves as well as installation of a fuel-injected 5.7-liter L98 V8 and a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes power steering, a dual exhaust system, staggered-width 15″ American racing wheels, updated suspension components, and four-wheel disc brakes. This modified C1 is offered on dealer consignment with a car cover and a clean California title.
The body was refinished in black with white coves during prior ownership according to the selling dealer. Features include a hood scoop, a left-side mirror, and chrome bumpers and trim. The car is not equipped with a soft top.
Staggered-width 15″ American Racing wheels feature a polished finish and are fitted with BFGoodrich tires measuring 215/60 up front and 235/60 out back. Disc brakes are fitted at all four corners, and the vehicle is also equipped with power-assisted steering and updated suspension components.
Vinyl upholstery with channeled inserts covers the bucket seats and door panels. Lap belts are equipped for both occupants, and additional features include an analog clock and a dashboard-mounted rear-view mirror.
Factory instrumentation includes a sweeping 160-mph speedometer along with a centrally oriented tachometer flanked by gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer currently indicates 3k miles; true mileage is unknown.
The 5.7-liter L98 V8 was installed under prior ownership and features tuned port fuel injection, a chrome intake manifold, and finned valve covers accented with red recesses. An electric puller fan is installed along with tubular headers linked to a dual exhaust system, and the engine is paired with an MN6 six-speed manual transmission.
