1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe 327/360 Fuelie 4-Speed

This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette is a Daytona Blue split-window coupe that was produced in December 1962 and is powered by a fuel-injected 327ci L84 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels with spinner-style covers, four-wheel drum brakes, concealed headlights, split chrome bumpers, dark blue upholstery, and a Delco AM/FM radio. The car spent time in Connecticut and was acquired by the selling dealer in May 2022. This split-window C2 is now offered in California with manufacturer’s literature, NCRS documentation and awards, an Al Grenning CCAS Certificate, records from previous ownership, and a clean Connecticut title.

The fiberglass bodywork left the factory finished in Daytona Blue (916A) and was repainted in 2010. Exterior features include a split rear window, chrome finished rocker panel trim and split bumpers, concealed headlights, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, faux hood vents, “Fuel Injection” and “Corvette” badging, and dual exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance.

The 15″ steel wheels wear spinner-style covers along with BFGoodrich narrow whitewall tires. The car is equipped with front and rear independent suspension along with unassisted four-wheel drum brakes.

The bucket seating is trimmed in dark blue upholstery and is complemented by matching door panels and carpets along with a black dashboard. Equipment includes polished interior trim, manually-operated windows, vent windows, and a center console housing an analog clock and a push-button Delco AM/FM radio.

The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 160-mph speedometer, a 6,500-rpm redline tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, battery charge, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles, and total mileage is unknown.

The 327ci L84 V8 is equipped with Rochester mechanical fuel injection and was factory rated at 360 horsepower.

The engine code and serial number are shown above.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed Borg Warner T-10 manual transmission.

The trim tag located below the glovebox door decodes as follows:
