This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a numbers-matching 427ci L71 V8 paired with an M21 four-speed manual transmission and is finished in Marina Blue over black vinyl upholstery. Additional equipment includes a black-striped stinger hood, a black soft top, a push-button radio, a Positraction differential, 15″ rally-style wheels, and three two-barrel carburetors. The car was acquired by the current owner in 1991 and received a Bloomington Gold Survivor award in 2013. This C2 convertible is now offered on dealer consignment in California with a tank sticker, a Protect-o-Plate, NCRS awards and documentation, and a clean Texas title.
The body left the factory finished in Marina Blue (976AA) and features a black soft top along with a chrome driver-side mirror, rocker panels, and split bumperettes. Additional exterior features include a “stinger” hood with a black stripe and 427 badging, concealed headlights, fender vents, and polished dual exhaust outlets.
Rally-style 15” wheels wear hubcaps and trim rings and are mounted with Firestone Deluxe Champion white-stripe tires. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at all four corners.
The cabin features low-back bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a push-button radio, a center console, and black rubber floor mats.
A three-spoke steering wheel features a crossed flag center emblem and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 23k miles.
The 427ci L71 V8 features three two-barrel carburetors and was factory rated at 435 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
A photo of the engine pad stamping shows the sequence 116313, which matches the last six digits on the chassis identification plate shown in the gallery. The JE suffix corresponds with a 427ci/435-horsepower V8 engine for manual transmission applications.
A February 2022 document from Classic Car Affirmation Service LLC describes the casting stamp verifications performed for this vehicle.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential with a 3:70:1 axle ratio. Additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery below.
The trim tag under the dash decodes as follows:
- I14 – April 14, 1967 build date
- 67 467 – 1967 Convertible
- STD – Black vinyl trim
- S7352 – Body number 7352 built in St. Louis
- 976AA – Marina Blue paint
A close-up photo of the tank sticker can be seen above, and a photo of the sticker mounted on the tank is presented in the gallery. The tank sticker was validated by the National Corvette Restorer’s Society in 2015, and additional NCRS awards and documentation can be seen in the gallery below.
